We are recruiting for Tutors to work within a variety of young people with Special Educational Needs through the local authorty. The pupils you will work with will have a diagnosis of some form of SEN, such as Social Emotional mental Health Needs, PMLD and a high percentage of those with Autism. Your role as a Tutor, would be to implement a plan with the teachers and parents or carers of the young person in question to support them while they are not in formal education. The times and days of the tuition would be discussed between offering flexibility within the role with the option to increase tuition when it becomes available. The successful Tutor would aim to supporting each learner in their care.

• A friendly and engaging personality

• A commitment to assisting those who are vulnerable.

In addition, you will need to complete all necessary vetting checks including proof of identity, a DBS on the Update Service and producing two recent references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
