We have a number of roles within our London region and are looking for experienced recruiters who are looking to take their career to the next step into being a senior consultant and team leader/branch manager.
Here at Teaching Personnel, we are recruiting across our region in both Primary and Secondary branches. We have warm and hot desks that need immediate servicing but which also have the potential for more business to be grown by a hungry, target driven individual. If you have worked in recruitment before - we want to hear from you. It doesn't matter if you have worked in another sector and not education, if you have the skills to recruit candidates, sell and build rapport with clients then those skills can be transferred into a role with us.
You will source talented teachers and learning support staff and match them with the right schools for the right pupils at the right time; with the aim of raising educational attainment.
The office is based in Southwark Bridge Road, overlooking The Shard and a short walk from Borough Market with its lively bars and restaurants, and with excellent transport links this is a great location to be in!
We are looking for applicants with the following;
- Genuine desire to lead a team and become a Manager
- Experience or knowledge of the recruitment sector
- Proven track record of success within recruitment
- An outgoing personality and confidence to liaise with senior and key decision makers
- Self-motivation and a commitment to on-going learning and individual development
- The ability to adapt and work in a team to achieve your goals and targets
The successful applicant joining TP as a Recruitment Consultant will be required to acquire clients from an existing database, whilst supporting current using clients in the busiest period of the year for Supply needs. You will make planned sales calls, target schools in your chosen geographical patch and offer our service and quality candidates for temporary and permanent positions. Also as a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible to build and develop your own candidate database in order to successfully service your given client schools. The ability to communicate effectively and be organised is essential to be successful running your own desk, as well as commitment to learning curriculum changes and updates to the education system.
If you haven't got an education background, an understanding of the education sector and passion for making a difference is just as useful in this consultative role.
