Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant? Do you have experience working in reception? Are you looking to secure your next full time role?

If so a 'Good' school located in the Wigan area is currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate teaching assistant to join their supportive and inclusive Early Years team, to start from Easter and continue until the end of the academic year with the possibility of being taken on permanently for the right candidate. The school already has a successful support network in place and is looking for someone who is able to make a real difference and is looking to establish themselves as a valued member of the support team. You will be working as part of an already Outstanding EYFS department working within the school's pre-school class.

A successful candidate should:

  • Have a passion for supporting pupils
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Be able to see every child's full potential and be able to support their learning in order to achieve their goals
  • Have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
  • Have a good knowledge of the Early Years curriculum
  • Be confident and experience teaching classes where needed
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
