Early Years Teaching Assistant required in Wigan

Level 2 Early Years Teaching Assistant required.
Grade 5 - £11,352 - £13,331 per annum. £9.50 - £11.15 per hour.
28 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year.
Do you hold a Level 2 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent? Do you have a real passion for making a difference in pupil's lives? Are you experienced working across an Early Years setting?
If so, due to an increase in pupil numbers, an average sized Catholic primary school located in the Wigan area, is currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic, engaging and passionate teaching assistant to work within their Early Years setting. The role will be a full time position, 28 hours a week and will be to start from September 2018.
In order to be successful you will need to:
- Have a real passion to make a difference in pupil's lives.
- Have previous experience of working across a Early Years
- Have a strong knowledge of phonics.
- Be a strong communicator and be able to work as part of a team.
- Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
- Have a good level of maths and English.
- Have experience supporting pupils on a full class, small group and 1:1 basis.
- Be adaptable and flexible.
- Have a calm and nurturing approach.
- Have effective behaviour management strategies that you are able to implement.
- Be able to support the schools Catholic ethos.
