Early Years Teaching Assistant - Nurture Specialist

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of inspiring and motivational primary schools in and around the Selby area, who are seeking Early Years and Nurture Teaching Assistants from November 2018.

These roles will see the successful applicants working on a 1:1 basis with Early Years Foundation Stage pupils in order to support and motivate them throughout the day. Some pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage may have additional physical and medical needs, so a passion for SEND is essential. As part of this role, you may be supporting vulnerable young children with limited basic life skills and so any similar experience will be beneficial. This role would suit a candidate who has previous experience in a care background or a similar environment.

To apply for this Teaching Assistant role, you must be patient, understanding and reliable, with experience working with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). You must also be focused, willing to assist with personal care and be able to work as part of a supportive team.

We are looking for someone who has excellent attendance and time keeping and is able to work on a long term basis. We have a variety of roles available, however, ideally you will be available full time. Teaching Personnel will consider part-time for the right applicants.
