Job Title: Early Years Qualified Teaching Assistant

Location:

East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Arnold

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities for early years students
  • Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans and educational strategies
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or special needs
  • Supervising students during activities and ensuring a safe learning environment
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Communicating effectively with parents and other staff members

Required Qualifications:

  • Early Years Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Valid DBS check
  • Previous experience working with early years students

Education:

Minimum of Early Years Level 2 or Level 3 qualification

Experience:

Previous experience working with early years students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of early childhood development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of educational principles and practises

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting with early years students
  • Full-time hours, temporary position
  • Potential for additional training and development opportunities
  • Salary of £80 - £90 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
