Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Qualified Teaching Assistant

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Qualified Teaching Assistant? Do you have a passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning during these crucial developmental years? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client in Nottingham.

Position: EYFS Qualified Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Full-Time & Part-Time

Salary: £80 - £95 Per Day

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the EYFS teaching team to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.
  • Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that support the EYFS curriculum.
  • Provide individualised attention and support to children, addressing their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and partnership.
  • Support the monitoring and assessment of children's progress, contributing to the tracking of their development.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning space where children feel comfortable to explore, create, and learn.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold a recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (EYFS Level 2 or 3, CACHE, or similar).
  • Demonstrated experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic attitude toward working with young learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
