Early Years Teaching Assistant

Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant? Do you have experience working in reception? Are you looking to secure your next full time role?

If so a Primary school located in the Hindley area of Wigan is currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate teaching assistant to join their supportive and inclusive Early Years team, to start as soon as possible.

You will need to:

  • Have a passion for supporting pupils
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Be able to see every child's full potential and be able to support their learning in order to achieve their goals
  • Have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
  • Have a good knowledge of the Early Years curriculum
  • Have a strong knowledge of phonics
  • Be confident and experience teaching classes where needed

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
