Are you an experienced EYFS teaching assistant?

Are you experienced supporting the continuous development of pupils? Are you able to work well as part of a team?

If so an academy trust who we work closely with in the Falmouth area is currently looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work within their Early Years setting.

The Nursery believes that Foundation Stage learning is the basis upon which children build the rest of their education. The development of a curriculum that is broad, balanced, structured and challenging with an emphasis on talking and learning through play will result in children developing the necessary social and language skills, securing knowledge and understanding for successful future learning. The position is to start as soon as possible!

In order to be successful you will need to:

  • Be creative, enthusiastic and engaging
  • Have a strong passion for helping pupils to succeed in what they do
  • Hold a minimum of GCSE A-C or equivalent
  • Have previous experience working with pupils
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Be a good communicator and work well as part of a team

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
