Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an experienced economics teacher, able to start immediately in one of our outstanding secondary schools. This is a long-term post until the end of the academic year, with potential to secure a permanent position.
Our school is based in Rochdale and is well known for its excellent success rates, and professionalism. The schools support staff within their role and offer 1:1 mentoring in the role.
The well-equipped department holds resource for all staff members to use, with state of the art facilities and planning and marking periods in your day. The school is located close to main bus and tram routes, easily accessible by all means of transport.
Key responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare lessons which will challenge students and ensure high levels of interest
• Monitor the academic progress of students and implement appropriate strategies to address under achievement
• Manage and monitor behaviour within the classroom
• Research new topic areas and maintain up-to-date subject knowledge

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
