Early Years Teacher - Rochdale OL12

This 'larger than the average-sized' primary school is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to start after the Easter break. The role will be on a full time basis until the end of the Academic year.

This Rochdale (OL12) based school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is overseen by a committed and passionate Head teacher, who values and supports the staff. Lessons are well planned by staff and they work hard to ensure that pupils get the most out of each one. The children have outstanding behaviour and are very polite and enthusiastic.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Education or similar as well as QTS status. The head teacher is looking for someone who is friendly and approachable with proven experience working with children under 5.

The school is currently using Read Write Inc Phonics within the Early Years department, experience in delivering this is essential.

Requirements:

  • QTS
  • Degree in Education
  • Experience delivering Read Write Inc phonics
  • Prior experience working with children under 5

The curriculum is broad and balanced and is delivered by experienced staff to a high level. Children are well behaved and have great relationships with staff members. The school has a very supportive and a welcoming culture and is known to be a lovely environment to work in!
