Early Years TA in Gainsborough

Job description

A primary SEN specialist school in Gainsborough is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to support on an ongoing basis in their EYFS class. The school provides education for those from 4 - 11 years, with a range of needs including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities.

The school is custom built with specific facilities in order to ensure all individual needs are met. Class sizes are much smaller than those in mainstream and often have a maximum of 8 students in any one class. Many students are working to low levels and a sensory based curriculum. For the most part, the needs include Autism, ADHD, SLD, PMLD and challenging behaviour.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will be required to support in the Early Years classes within the school. You will be required to support the students on both an educational and emotional level. The ideal candidate will have either experience of working with SEN or experience of the Early Years Curriculum. Phonics experience would be advantageous,

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
