Early Years Support Worker

Role

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a 'Good' Primary School in central Wakefield who are looking for 2 Early Years Support Workers for full-time roles and 1 year contracts from January 2019! You will be required to work 8:30am - 4pm Monday to Friday and you will be based in Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception mixed).

Ideal candidate

The school are looking for:

  • Recent University Graduates (Childhood Studies or Early Years Studies)
  • Available full-time
  • DBS

School

The school received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2016 and currently have 83 pupils on role in Foundation Stage. The school children from a variety of different backgrounds and some children in Early Years who speak English as an Additional Language. Therefore candidates applying need to be able to support and work with these pupils.

Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.

These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
