Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a primary school in Salford. This Ofsted rated “Good” are looking to add an Early Years teaching assistant to their EYFS unit from February for the rest of the academic year and likely to go onto school based contract. As an Early Years teaching assistant, you would be expected support children on a small group basis and occasionally on a 1:1 basis.
The focus for the school at this current moment is to help support new children from various international backgrounds to settle into their Early Years department and as such, the role comes with certain unique challenges. As an Early Years teaching assistant, you would be working with children whose’ first language is not English (EAL) and children with “Looked After” (LAC) backgrounds. There is a lot of support from a very experienced EYFS team as well as the school SENCO.
The school are looking for Teaching Assistant with minimum of Cache Level 2 or a graduate with child based experience. If you are interested in this position, please apply and send an updated CV.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
