Easry Years SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant Required
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a specialist academy in Lincolnshire to place an early years teaching assistant who have experience with Autism or Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties.
The academy pride themselves on being able to develop children academically, socially, emotionally and physically and to allow them to value themselves and grow into aspirational members of the community.
The academy is purpose built to house excellent facilities such as a sensory room, calm & quiet classrooms and soft play classrooms which are enabled to be able to bring out the very best of the children specifically tailored to their specific needs.
Do you have the following role requirements?
- Experience with Early Year's
- Experience in supporting a range of learning difficulties including Autism to include Asperger’s Syndrome as well as Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
- Experience in SEN schools
- Experience in the care working industry
- Experience with using Makaton and/or PECS
- Experience in an early years setting
- Any other relevant experience
The role itself offers the following:
- The age of the children ranges from 2-5 years of age.
- The ability to work with a range of SEN conditions.
- The opportunity to nurture positive relationships with parents and carers
- The chance to join an organisation that is striving to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ rating with OFSTED to further improve on the current ‘Good’ rating.
