Early Years Practitioner positions for September: Westminster
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Two lovely primary schools in Westminster are looking to bring on two new members of nursery staff each - to join them this month. Having now met with their incoming student class they have identified the need to bring in additional support. Teaching Personnel have worked with these schools for nearly 10 years; developing a close relationship so that your personal consultant will make sure your transition into working at one of these schools is smooth and happy.
The schools are both 2 form entry primary schools, and are walking distances from both Westminster and Baker Street Stations. The schools are based in newly refurbished buildings - with extensive outdoor space and a thriving Community Building. They have close links with local cultural centres providing a variety of creative experiences and have successfully secured the science mark gold and London health school silver awards recently.
The schools have well embedded systems to support staff development and you will be joining a team of friendly and committed staff. In this role you will be required to build relationships with groups of children, keep track of their learning journey and ensure the health, safety and well-being of the children at all times.
The ideal candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare
- Minimum of 1 years experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Experience doing observations and report writing
- Strong teamwork skills
- Passion and enthusiasm for children and childcare
The schools are ideally looking for a candidate to take on a candidate on a temp to perm basis so that you work on a 20 week basis via the agency before progressing to a permanent contract with the schools. So if you're reading this and would love to put yourself, or someone else forward; contact Teaching Personnel's Westminster branch on 02075933088 now :)
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis so please be sure to apply as soon as you are able.
