Job description

Early Years Practitioners required for day to day supply cover throughout York, we have competitive daily rates available and a range of full time, part time and supply bookings available.

Teaching Personnel are delighted to support primary schools throughout York and North Yorkshire. We have recently seen an increase in demand for flexible staff that are able to support schools on a day to day and longer term basis.

Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience;

  • 1 year minimum experience working within an EYFS environment
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Knowledge of Child Development and children's needs
  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to Early Years such as EYFS, SEN, safeguarding, Childcare Act 2006
  • Experienced planning and delivering activities
  • Experienced teaching phonics

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
