Job description

The Head Teacher of a Primary School in Grimsby is urgently seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support with cover in their Foundation Stage class. This is a full time role with an immediate start.

You will need to have a calming and nurturing attitude in order to create a supportive environment for EYFS children. Experience supporting pupils with SEN is advantageous, although not essential.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold relevant qualifications (Teaching Assistant/ Childcare related qualification/ Nursery Nurse etc.)
  • Have experience supporting young children, whether in a classroom or alternative setting
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for education and the desire to make a difference to the learning of children across EYFS
  • Have good availability and be willing to be called upon at short notice
