Location: Sunderland

Role: 1:1 TA in EYFS

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for part time work to fit around your busy schedule? We are working with a school who are currently seeking a TA to work in the EYFS class as a 1:1 support for a young pupil with SEND needs. The role is roughly to last 12 weeks and you would be needed 8:30 – 11:30 every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

The school:

  • Based in Sunderland
  • Proud of their ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with parents, pupils, and staff
    • Offer great quality support and education to pupils, with lots of extracurricular activities and booster classes in place ensuring pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential

The Role:

  • Supporting a young SEND pupil in Early Years
  • Using THRIVE approach to learning
  • Developing a positive relationship with the pupil to keep them engaged in their learning

Candidate Requirements:

  • Obtain a child workforce DBS accessible through the update service, or be willing to apply for one
  • Relevant experience working and caring for children at an EYFS age
  • SEND experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
