Early Years Educator/Nursery Nurse (Monmouthshire)

Teaching Personnel are actively looking to recruit an energetic, dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator for one of our lovely Primary schools in Monmouthshire, in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

The position is to start in the new academic year (September 2018) however - if the right applicant is willing to start before the end of this academic year (July 2018), the school would look into arranging an earlier start. It is a full time role working regular school hours Monday to Friday and term time only, with great growth and development opportunities. Our client school has confirmed that they are happy to offer a competitive salary, between £9 and £11 per hour based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
The ideal candidate for this role must have a minimum of a CACHE Level 3 and/or Bachelors in Early Childhood Studies, and have proven experience working with children. Additional certificates would be strongly beneficial to your application.

You may have experience of the following: Childcare Practitioner, Early Years Practitioner, Play worker, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Teacher, Nursery Nurse.

Applicants must :

- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - full assistance provided)
- Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (compulsory requirement in Wales) - please note that if you are living in England, you can still register with the EWC which will give you the opportunity to work on both sides of the border
- Provide two professional or character references
- Be available to interview and/or trial asap
- Be available to start on short notice
- Be living in Monmouthshire and/or have plans to move to Monmouthshire in the near future and/or be willing to travel to Monmouthshire

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
