EAL teaching assistant Newcastle – excellent opportunity to work in a well regarded secondary schools EAL department on a full time basis.
Temporary supply position for a secondary school in Newcastle as an EAL teaching assistant.
Do you have experience working as a teaching assistant or LSA within a secondary school, specifically supporting pupils where English is a second or additional language? Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large Newcastle secondary school who have a long term supply position for an EAL teaching assistant in 2017. The successful applicant will need to have previous experience supporting high school aged pupils with low level understanding of the English language and curriculum, this is not just a language post and you will be required to support children with the national curriculum.

- Previous experience supporting in a similar environment needed
- Large secondary school in Newcastle with excellent facilities
- Work in this supportive school with pupils who are keen to learn
- Located in within easy access of public transport
