Teaching Personnel are seeking a enthusiastic Drama Teacher ASAP 2018. The vacancy has become available very last minute, as our current member of staff is relocating for personal reasons.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is talented, hard-working, and keen to work with us, as we strive to make a difference to the young people in our community. The successful candidate will be welcomed to an already outstanding Drama department, who pride themselves on working as a team.

The post will suit either a newly qualified teacher Drama Teacher, keen to make their mark or a teacher with some expertise seeking a position of responsibility. The suitable candidate will be familiar with all of the key stages, as this role does require detailed awareness of the national curriculum. Proven Improvement in student development, subject knowledge and behaviour management skills are essential.

The school is a large mixed comprehensive based in Pontypool. The school has heavy links with community and often uses the campus to hold events. This is a very supportive school and has strong SLT in place.
