Drama Teacher - Pontefract September Start
My partner secondary school in the WF8 area of Pontefract are currently looking to recruit an experienced Teacher of Drama to start cover a long-term sickness for the first term from September 2019 until December 2019 initially. This role is on a full time basis and there will be an opportunity for the right candidate to go onto a permanent contract with the school.
This school are looking for a strong, experienced teacher who can manage challenging behaviour effectively while planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS3/KS4. The school in question are expected to become 'Good' rated by Ofsted come September with the introduction of a new Headteacher and behaviour policy which has worked great over the past term.
The school are looking for the following:
- Experienced Drama/Performing Arts teacher
- The ability to manage challenging behaviour
- Someone who can plan and deliver engaging lessons up to KS4
- A punctual individual who wishes to be a part of the school
My partner secondary school are part of an exciting multi academy trust that boasts 2 Secondary schools and 8 primary schools. With this in mind, it opens up a lot of opportunities to work across the trust and secure a permanent role if wanted. The school is just a 5 minute journey from the XSCAPE junction of the M62 making it very accessible with great public transport routes as well.
