Job description

Our client secondary school situated in Salford, are currently seeking to appoint a teacher of Drama to join their Performing Arts Faculty on a full time temporary basis following the Easter break. If the successful Drama teacher can join the team earlier, this post can commence with immediate effect.

Due to an un-foreseen absence within the Drama department, our partner secondary school in Salford requires an innovative & passionate Drama teacher, who can deliver interactive lessons to keep students focused and challenged. The incoming Drama teacher must have excellent behaviour management skills and be able to build positive relationships with students across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four. The department will welcome both newly qualified and experienced Drama teachers to apply.

  • Full time temporary Drama position, Easter 2018 start or sooner if possible
  • Welcoming and supportive Performing Arts department
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)
  • Must have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Modern building with excellent facilities and provisions
  • Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' Secondary school

The mixed comprehensive 11-16 secondary school situated in the Salford LEA can easily be reached via the A580 (East Lancashire Road). For non drivers, there are a variety of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas Trafford, Leigh and Eccles.
