Drama Teacher – Reading

A secondary school in Reading are seeking a Teacher of Drama to join their Performing Arts department. This post is required from after the new year and is initially until the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend. ECT and Fully Qualified teachers are welcome to apply for this post!

  • Planning, marking, and delivering a full Drama timetable across both KS3 & KS4, in line with the current curriculum

About the role

  • To implement and deliver an appropriate, broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated Drama curriculum for students in KS3 & KS4
  • To support a designated curriculum area as appropriate
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students within the subject
  • To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential within the subject
  • To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth

The successful candidate will:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
