- Teaching both KS3 and KS4 GCSE Drama within a high achieving and modern Performing Arts department
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience
"Due to a gap within our Drama department, we have an opportunity for a Drama teacher to join our close knit team in September 2020 for 1 term, initially. Any Drama teachers joining our school will be given a great opportunity to work within our state of the art department. The Drama teacher MUST be extremely creative and passion must be evident when teaching their subject. – Head of Drama.
Applicant specification;
The Performing Arts department and leadership team are looking to recruit a Drama teacher who is able to create a positive learning environment and influence pupil progression no matter what their ability. The incoming Drama teacher will hold a timetable consisting of teaching Y7-11 and the school are able to provide you with a tailored timetable to match your teaching style in order for you to have the most impact within this role. A strong classroom presence and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils is an essential attribute the school are on the lookout for.
The School;
This 11-16 mixed faith school have a close knit Performing Arts department made up of supportive and welcoming staff members. Located on the outskirts of Chorley, the school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas; Bolton, Preston, Leyland, Manchester, and Darwen/Blackburn. On site parking is available to all staff and the facilities in school are state of the art, and the building developments in 2014 have given classrooms a modern look with excellent resources.
