Teaching Personnel have been asked to find an excellent Drama and Performing Arts Teacher for a thriving school in Newport. The school is easily accessible with plenty of public transport available.

The school have asked for all types of teachers to apply whether that is Fully Qualified and Newly Qualified. The school require the teacher to teach up to key stage 5. The experience to plan, prepare and teach the constantly evolving curriculum is essential for being successful in this role.

The school are fully committed to extra curricular experiences and wider skills development is expected with this role. The successful candidate will be joining a strong team within the Creative Arts Faculty.

The school is currently in "Special measures" and is accessing good support. Estyn monitoring is progressing very well. The previous two years the school has been gained the most improved results in Wales which is a credit to the staff.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
