Drama Teacher

Job description

My client school located in Poole is looking for a Qualified Teacher of Drama for a maternity post in a Bournemouth secondary school, starting in January 2019.


This is a part-time role for a Drama Teacher (4 days per week, excluding Fridays), but there is the possibility of extending it to a full-time role for the right Drama Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is talented, hard-working, and keen to work with us, as we strive to make a difference to the young people in our community. The successful candidate will be welcomed to an already outstanding Drama department, who pride themselves on working as a team.

You will be suitable for this role if you are a Drama Teacher and have the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience in delivering Drama at least up to GCSE level
  • Passion for the subject and drive to succeed
  • Good classroom management skills
