Role: Drama Teacher
Location: Stockport
Salary: GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 based on experience
Start Date: September 2020
A school in Manchester requires a Drama Teacher for a September 2020 start (for 1 term)
The applicant must:
- Hold QTS.
- Have prior experience within the teaching of Drama up to GCSE level.
- Be a creative and engaging teacher, who is able to keep pupils focused appropriately.
Key aspects of this role:
- Manage workloads, and ensure that students are producing pieces of work that are original and unique (both written and practical)
- Working with students on both a group and individual basis, aiming to improve overall student attainment.
- Delivering school curriculum, encouraging group learning and ensuring that students are attempting to create unique pieces of work.
- Preparing students for examinations, with full planning and marking responsibilities.
- Managing day to day factors, ensuring school policy is consistently adhered to.
- Being able to confidently work with students with SEN.
- Be able to implement inventive teaching strategies designed to enable every student the opportunity to maximise thier overall ability within the subject.
