Teaching personnel are in the process of appointing a Drama specialist teacher for our client school based in the Bury area.

If you are an experienced Drama specialist teacher or a drama NQT looking to secure your first role ahead of September 2018, then we would like to hear from you.

  • Full time Drama Teacher role, September 2018.
  • Must hold QTS/NQT - subject specialist experience is essential.
  • Working in an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school
  • Ongoing training through CPD and training programmes through our partner schools.
  • Initially on a temporary supply basis, with the potential to secure a long term fixed contract.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS - £22,917 - £38, 633.

The incoming drama teacher can expect to join a supportive staff team priding themselves in the attainment of their pupils. With the dedication of Senior Management at school, you will be able to progress within the role, and raise attainment across the Performing Arts cohort.

As the successful Drama teacher you will be expected to;

  • Lead a full time table delivering dynamic, engaging and innovative drama lessons to pupils.
  • Plan, mark and monitor lessons and report back to Senior Leadership appropriately.
  • Confidently manage behaviour in accordance to school behaviour policies.
