Dewsbury School seeks Behaviour Buddy

Job description

Teaching Personnel have been specifically approached by a Junior school in Dewsbury to recruit a behaviour buddy for a specific child that has started the school. The child is coming from the nearby Infant school and has an SEMH background that translates into behavioural issues.

The OFSTED rated 'Good' school are seeking a behaviour specialist to competently work in harmony with the supportive school who will ensure you have a team that will work with you. The Dewsbury school is located close to Morley and has easy links via public transport.

As the support assistant you will:

  • Have good behaviour management
  • Experience of working one to one within a school setting
  • Some experience of children with SEN needs, in particular SEMH would be advantageous
  • Be close to Dewsbury or willing to commute

What you can expect:

  • A minimum of two days at the school with potential to increase
  • A friendly school that offers support
  • An OFSTED rated 'Good' School that is making movement to potentially becoming 'Outstanding'
