  • Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)
  • Full time, term time only
  • April - July, Earlier start date available

Teaching Personnel have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, inspirational and highly motivated professional to play a key part in one of our partner schools technology department. The successful Design Technology teacher will join our partner schools department of 7 and will work with the team to drive up standards.

We are looking for a creative, passionate and energetic teacher who will draw upon the latest resources and teaching methods in delivering Design Technology across the ability range at KS3 and KS4. Some KS5 teaching may be available depending on experience and specialism.

The school offers Product Design, Textiles, Food, Resistant Materials, Engineering and Graphic Products. We welcome applications from Design Technology teachers from all specialisms. We also welcome applications from NQT's.

Our partner school has a state of the art purpose built school building which is fully equipped with the very latest facilities including two multi-material workshops and a full range of technology rooms. Located in the heart of Manchester, the school has established itself as a school that is committed to transforming the lives of some of the most disadvantaged young people. With just over 1000 pupils on roll, the percentage of students eligible for free school meals is dramatically above the National Average. We are therefore looking for a caring and resilient teacher with effective behaviour management skills to be able to motivate and inspire a high number of disengaged students.

The school is located in central Manchester and is easily accessible via Metrolink and public transport links from the city centre.
