Teaching Personnel are seeking a superb Design technology teacher for a permanent position at one of London's most thriving schools in Merton, South London. This role has just become available due to department expansion and due to this they are looking to meet with an engaging and passionate DT Teacher to start Easter 2021, on a 1 year contract initially with a potential extension if interested.

DT teaching post – ‘Good’ Mixed Secondary school in Merton – Easter 2021  - Permanent role with a salary of GBP29,915 - GBP45,766 per annum.

  • DT Teaching job – Easter 2021 – Merton.
  • Permanent position from Easter 2021 – salary of GBP29,915 - GBP45,766 per annum
  • Key Stage 3 & 4 Design technology role – ideal preference with someone that has experience with GCSE experience with Product Design / Graphics.
  • Ofsted rated ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features graded Secondary School.
  • Merton borough, South West London.
  • Close to excellent transport links, good parking facilities and near to tube lines.

To be considered for this Design Technology Teacher opportunity you must have the following:

  • 1st or 2:1 related degree
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Newly Qualified Teacher or Design technology teachers with more experience
  • Experience with KS3/KS4 (GCSE) Product Design or Graphics
  • Strong classroom management and lesson planning

Due to the expansion of the Design technology department, this Merton based Secondary school, who have celebrated fantastic GCSE results for the last 4 years, are looking for a resilient and passionate DT  Teacher to join their team from Easter 2021 to continue the superb work and standards that are already in place.

The ideal DT Teacher should be able to inspire students to reach their full potential whilst ensuring each child enjoys their learning experience. You will be teaching a mainly Key stage 3 and KS4 timetable and must have been graded as Good or Outstanding in your last observations.

This thriving Design technology  team are an extremely cohesive department, led by a supportive and visionary Head of Department.
