A secondary school situated in the central Manchester education authority, is looking for a Design Technology specialist to start with them on Monday 7th September 2020. The successful Design Technology teacher is required as a result of an open vacancy within this schools Art and Design faculty. As an open role, the successful teacher has the opportunity to take on a school based contract from January for the remainder of the academic year. The successful Design Technology teacher should be experienced in teaching Resistant Materials, Product Design and the Graphics side of the curriculum.
This is a full time teaching position in a supportive Technology department for the duration of the upcoming academic year with the view being that the right candidate will progress onto a school based contract following an introduction through Teaching Personnel.
Highlights of this Design Technology teaching position:
- Pay dependent upon teacher’s payscale, ranging from GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per annum (new pay scales to be adhered to)
- Open vacancy: Full time teaching position in Design and Technology with a focus on Resistant Materials/Product Design
- Opportunity and plan to progress onto a school based contract following a short introduction via Teaching Personnel

The school is located in the central Manchester area with transport links being very regular; the local metrolink services this school often. The central Manchester train stations are also commutable from this school.
