Design Technology Teacher - Sheffield
Teacher of Design Technology, with Graphics & RM specialism, May 2018 for 2 terms
Located near to the M1, accessible via public transportation links
Temporary post with daily rate up to £160 per day
Are you a teacher of Design Technology looking for a new role in South Yorkshire?
A large mixed Academy near to the M1 have a temporary requirement in May 2018, they are seeking a teacher of Design Technology, ideally with a Resistant Materials and Graphics specialism, who is able to deliver engaging lessons up to GCSE level. This post as a teacher of Design Technology has become available due to a resignation; the successful teacher will begin in June, and will be in line for a permanent appointment later in the academic year.
The appointed Design Technology teacher will join a large department on a full time basis, and will be expected to take on department responsibilities for assessment, planning and marking during the post. The Academy are happy to take applications from varying levels of experience, including newly qualified teachers of Design Technology.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
