This is an exciting opportunity to work within a progressive Design and Technology department and create outstanding learning opportunities. The school has a successful team working in a modern, well equipped environment. They are seeking a Design and Technology teacher to teach students in both key stage 3 and key stage 4.
The school is situated in the heart of Bournemouth, and have a memeber of staff who is taking early retirement, therefore if you get on well in school from September, the school will happily place you on a permanent contract from January 2022. The successful candidate will be proactive and will actively look for opportunities to engage the natural inquisitiveness of their learners. Candidates should be able to enthuse pupils and contribute positively to help develop the curriculum provision offered by the team.
You will:
- Be a motivated teacher who inspires your pupils and is keen to work with colleagues to develop the delivery of the DT curriculum.
- Be innovative and resourceful when delivering curriculum.
- Be flexible, collaborative and resilient.
- Have high expectations of your pupils, the school and yourself.
- Be happy to interview in school and teach a 30 minute lesson with details provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
