Primary Supply Teacher

Location: Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow & Ealing

Role: Supply Primary Teacher for KS1 or KS2

Duration: Day to day supply – sick cover – maternity cover – training cover – jury duty cover

Pay: £120 - 150 per day (paid on a weekly basis)

What we are looking for:

We are currently working with many schools located in the West London area who are in demand of supply teachers who can cover KS1 and KS2 classes. The position if flexible and we explain to candidates that they should expect to get a call at 7am Monday to Friday for supply bookings. Schools are looking for individuals who will positively manage children’s behaviour, can correctly deliver the work set by the class teacher and give feedback back to the teacher at the end of the day.

What will the job involve?

  • Delivering lessons set by the class teacher
  • Manage class behaviour
  • Confidence in delivering lessons that will cover a range of subjects
  • Ensure the learning environment is positive and safe
  • Make learning engaging for the children
  • Experiencing a range of schools in the local area

Essential requirements and qualifications needed:

Qualified Teaching Status QTS or equivalent

PGCE

Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

Overseas criminal clearance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
