Teaching Personnel are currently partnered with a larger than average secondary school who are looking to recruit a Design Technology teacher starting after Easter. This is a part time Design Technology teaching post with the successful Design Technology teacher teaching right up to A Level.

This Design Technology post is at a larger than average secondary school which is part of a local trust of multiple secondary schools. This is therefore the direction which it is pushing in, so expect a teacher who can echo such values and effective teaching strategies.

Highlights of this Design Technology teaching position:

  • Part time Design Technology post starting after Easter
  • Ideally have specialism within Resistant Materials although any subject specialism considered
  • Pay ranging between £100 - £187 per day depending on experience
  • Applications welcomed from teachers of all experience; must possess strong classroom management ability
  • Work alongside a committed Design Technology team of professionals
  • Mixed secondary school located in Barnsley

This school is based in the Barnsley making it very easy to get to for any teachers on public transport. The bus travels and stops right outside the school, within walking distance as well as any teachers driving to school by car, being able to park in the school's large on site car park.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
