Are you a teacher of Design and Technology looking for the opportunity to work in a Good School that is striving to be Outstanding?

I am working on behalf of a residential SEMH all boys School in North Yorkshire; just outside of Scarborough, with great access from the A64 via car or bus. The School promotes a 'positive behaviour' policy believing that all pupils should reach their own potential. This role will be teaching Design Technology, mainly Resistant Materials, up to GCSE level for a minimum period of one term.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Hold QTS or recognised international teaching qualification
  • Be a motivational & innovative teacher
  • Be able to evidence recent 'good' or 'outstanding' observation reports
  • Have recent experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 Resistant Materials

The successful candidate will benefit from:

  • Pay rates of £110-£140 per day
  • Small class sizes of 8-12 students, with additional support from Teaching Assistants in the class

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
