Are you a Design Technology Teacher with a specialism in Resistant Materials?

Are you currently available to start work and looking in the Sheffield Area?

The school is a larger than average school with approximately 1400 pupils on roll. The school has been judged as a 'Good' school in all areas by Ofsted. Although the candidate should be experienced working within a Design Technology department, the school requires a Teacher with experience teaching Resistant Materials to GCSE. The candidate should be comfortable with all of the coursework elements of the course.

The need for a Design Technology Teacher has come about due to an unplanned absence. Although the position is initially temporary the school is potentially looking to expand the department from October 2018 due to rising pupil numbers. The Head Teacher is keen to consider the successful candidate for a potential permanent role later on in the new academic year.

The Sheffield based school would be happy to consider both NQT's and experienced Technology Teachers. The school is looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Resistant Materials curriculum who would be confident planning and teaching high quality lessons to a variety of pupil abilities and backgrounds.
