Knowledge and experience of teaching Graphic Design and / or Food Technology is desirable.

We are currently seeking to appoint a Teacher of Design and Technology to join our partner school in Stockport. Our partner school is an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school located in Stockport with over 1200 pupils on roll. The successful Design Technology teacher will join our partner school in January 2019 and will be required until the end of the academic year. Whilst this is a temporary position in the first instance, there is potential for this to continue on to a permanent contract for the successful applicant.

This position offers a unique opportunity to make a major contribution towards our continued high achievement. Our Design and Technology subject area delivers a vibrant and engaging curriculum at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This popular and valued subject achieves excellent examination results on a consistent basis across a range of subject areas and Key Stage 4 qualifications. Knowledge and experience of teaching Graphic Design and / or Food Technology is desirable for this post.
