Teaching Personnel are partnered with a school in the Salisbury area that are looking for a new Design and Technology teacher to join their team after Easter on a full-time OR part-time basis.

The school we are working with was rated 'Good' by Ofsted. With great facilities and a lovely team of teachers in the department already, this school is looking to expand their Design and Technology department.

The school in Salisbury, Wiltshire sets high expectations for themselves and their students, and would like the successful D&T Teacher to encompass the same visions and values of the school.

We are looking for an experienced teacher, prefferably specialising in Resistant Materials or Product Design that will be responsible for delivering and planning lessons which motivates students and allows each pupil to develop a more creative way of thinking, as well as contributing to the wider education agenda.

The ideal candidate is;

  • An innovative and enthusiastic Design and Technology teacher with a range of teaching experiences and qualified to teach students up to the age of 16.
  • An outstanding teacher who combines a range of teaching strategies and excellent relationships with young people.
  • Someone who looks for ways to improve themselves and the school and is not afraid of taking responsibility beyond their own area.
