Design & Technology Teacher or NQT - Oldham - September Start

Large school in Oldham seek Design & Technology Teacher to join the department in September for a full time position. If you have experience teaching Design & Technology to both KS3 and GSCE level, we want to hear from you!

Due to maternity leave there is an open vacancy starting in September for an experienced Design & Technology Teacher or a confident and able NQT. This is a full time position in a large mixed school in Oldham with a strong support structure in place and state of the art facilities, delivering an excellent work and learning atmosphere for both the teacher and pupils involved within the school community.

The incoming Design & Technology Teacher or NQT must have previous experience teaching to both KS3 and GCSE level and have a passion for maximizing the potential of students through inspiring lesson planning and delivery. Helping to assist in raising the confidence of pupils both in and outside of the classroom and encourage them to use their initiative and their own creative nature using a range of materials including woods, metals and plastics, while encouraging sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

FULL TIME POSITION STARTING IN SEPTEMBER 2018

TEACHING DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TO BOTH KS3 AND GCSE LEVEL

PAID IN LINE WITH TEACHING SCALE POINT (£22,917-£38,633 PER ANNUM)

FULL ACCESS TO TEACHING PERSONNEL'S CPD AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES

This is an excellent opportunity for a Design & Technology teacher seeking a new challenge in the upcoming academic year or for an NQT seeking an introduction to teaching in a mainstream setting. There are strong support measures in place and excellent facilities within the large secondary school based in Oldham, offering excellent learning and working provisions. The school is located a short distance from the Hollinwood interchange on the M60 ring road as well as being close to major transport links to Manchester City Centre.
