Design and Technology Teacher - Newcastle

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a D+T Teacher for a School in Newcastle to cover a Maternity. The role is temporary until the end of the summer term (July 2019) however, does have the possibility of being extended. The key responsibilities of the role are to prepare and teach across the KS3 - KS4 Design and Technology Curriculum on a full timetable.

The School is an 11 to 18 secondary school with approximately 1000 students and is based in the West End region of Newcastle. The school has a thriving community of students, parents, staff and governors who work together to provide an engaging learning environment which encourages students to reach their full potential.

The School requires a good to outstanding Teacher of Design and Technology to join their well established, supportive and innovative team. They are looking for someone who can motivate students and enhance pupil's development in the subject in order to attain their highest potential. The starting date for this role will be the 23rd April 2019.

You will have the opportunity to be paid in line with MPS/UPS - £23,720 - £39,406. Initially, you will be paid at a daily rate between £100 - £130.
