Position: Teacher of Design and Technology

 

Location: North Sheffield 

 

Start date: 4th September 2023

 

Contract length: 1 acedemic year

 

We are looking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic, and inspiring Teacher of Design Technology with a forward-thinking approach on behalf of a secondary school in Sheffield. The Design Technology department is well-resourced, and the successful candidate will join in delivering an inspiring and engaging curriculum across KS3 and KS4.

 

In KS3, you will assist in helping students manage time and resources, becoming familiar with equipment and tools. You will help to encourage safe working practices and the development of independence of thought. The school encourage students to investigate a wide range of materials, processes and techniques, leading to the development of technological awareness and the ability to make reasoned decisions and valued judgements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
