Teacher of Design Technology – Maidstone

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a OFSTED ‘Good’ rated secondary school based in Maidstone who are looking to recruit a Teacher of Design Technology to start ASAP

You will be required to plan, deliver, and mark the work of the students so experience with this is essential. Experienced teachers as well as NQT's are more than welcome to apply.

The role:

  • Teach Design Technology to KS3 and KS4
  • Teach KS3 Food Preparation & Nutrition
  • Teach full ability range 11-16
  • Ability to teach KS5 Design Technology is desirable
  • Long-term full-time role which includes departmental meetings, parents evenings etc

All candidates MUST have:

  • A teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE)
  • The right to work within the UK
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain a Child Workforce only DBS, which is on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
