Resistant Material Teacher Required - Sheffield

  • Initially a 2 term temporary contract, with the potential of a permanent appointment for the correct candidate

Are you a qualified Technology teacher, who specialising in Resistant Materials, interested in sharing your expertise with enthusiastic students? Do you aspire to teach the subject you are passionate about in a vibrant and multi cultural environment?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and qualified Design Technology Teacher specialising in Resistant Materials to teach in a large 11-18 Secondary School in Sheffield. This post will be teaching a Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 timetable; it is initially a 2 term temporary contract, however this post is vacant and a permanent contract will be available to the most suitable candidate.

The school itself has been rated ‘outstanding' and continues to move from strength to strength, building its reputation within the community as an excellent school. The school is seeking a candidate with recent experience of teaching Resistant Materials to Key Stage 3 and 4, although experience to Key Stage 5 would be favorable from January 2017. The successful candidate will demonstrate high levels of subject expertise and provide students with Technology lessons that are interesting, engaging and intellectually stimulating.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
