A medium-sized Secondary Academy close to central Leeds are looking to appoint a qualified Design & Technology teacher for 1 term from September 2016.
The school are seeking a specialist in Resistant Materials and Engineering as the KS4 timetable involves these subjects. You will also teach other aspects of Dt at KS3 so must be flexible to do so. Recent experience of teaching DT up to GCSE level is required.
You must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK and be available to start from Monday 5th September.
The role is for 1 term initially but the school have said there is a potential permanent role available from January 2017 so this role would be ideal for either teachers seeking a temporary role as well as those seeking the opportunity for a permanent Design Technology teaching role.
The school is a medium-sized Academy that was graded 'Good' on its most recent Ofsted report. It serves a diverse community with a range of pupils with different abilities and backgrounds. The school strives for success for all and this ethos is embodied throughout the whole school.
