Are you a qualified Design and Technology teacher looking to secure a fixed term appointment from Easter? Due to a gap in their Technology department, our client school are looking for a Design and Technology teacher to join them on a full time basis teaching Resistant Materials and Product Design across 11-16.

- Full time Design and Technology teacher required for open vacancy

- April 2018 start date, though potentially sooner

Our client school is a large, newly built secondary school situated on the outskirts of Manchester city centre, boasting excellent public transport links with a number of tram and bus routes from Manchester. The school has outstanding provisions for learning throughout, including interactive learning spaces for learners to benefit from. The Technology department houses state of the art technology throughout ensuring students and staff have the best available to them.

The incoming Design and Technology teacher will be responsible for the delivery of the AQA spec of Resistant Materials along with Product Design across all age groups, including the planning, marking and assessment for theory and practical lessons. The most suitable Design and Technology teacher will have previous experience delivering excellent results across both Key Stages and a firm classroom management approach to ensure students stay focused during their studies.
