Are you a DT teacher? Looking for work in January?
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school on the Wirral who are looking for a KS3-4 DT teacher to join their team. This position is a long term supply role on a full time basis; all DT applicants must be willing to teach a small number of KS3 Food Technology sessions as well.
When applying for this post you must have in date and valid training certification to use the machinery and equipment within the department (such as bandsaw, belt sander and pillar drill).
The school is much larger than the average-sized secondary school with a large sixth form. Students in Year 7-11 are all girls but the sixth form is mixed. Over 90% of students are White British and the vast majority of students speak English as their first language. A small number of students in Key Stage 4 attend courses at local colleges.
Noted by OFSTED “The behaviour of students in classrooms and around the school is exemplary.”
All DT teachers applying for this post must have;
*QTS or NQT status with a specialism in DT
*Experience teaching DT in both KS3-4
*Willingness to teach KS3 Food Technology
*In date certificate’s to use the above named machinery
